Seed bombs are a smart and eco-friendly way to spread greenery all around. It is essentially a small, compact ball made from a mixture of seeds, soil, compost and clay. This unique combination protects the seeds and provides them with the nutrients needed to germinate and grow into healthy plants, provided they are placed in conditions that allow them to thrive and flourish. You will learn how to make a couple of seed bombs in our seed bomb workshop!

Upon completion of your very own seed bombs at Ecoponics’  seed bomb workshop, bring the seed bombs to a garden plot of your choice, or to a grassy patch of land, throw them randomly on the ground, and let the nature take care of the rest! You can even gift wrap the seed bombs and give them to your relatives and friends who are into gardening / urban farming!

The ingredients are usually rolled together to form a compact sphere that can be easily scattered in a target area. The idea is that the seeds within the bomb will eventually germinate and grow into plants.

In summary, the idea behind a seed bomb is to encase seeds in a mixture that provides them with nutrients and protection until they are ready to germinate and grow into plants

The duration of the kokedama workshop is typically around 1.5hours. 

Ecoponics focuses on hands-on learning experiences, so participants could gain hands-on experience learning how to make their own seed bombs and at the same time learn about farming methods. 

Ecoponics' Kokedama Workshop is suitable for beginners with no prior experience in planting or working with plants. 

Our friendly and experienced instructors and facilitators will guide you through a step-by-step process. 

The seed bomb workshop is suitable for kids. However, for children under the age of 10, we would recommend an adult's supervision such as a parent/guardian/ teacher.

During the seed bomb workshop, there will be a variety of seeds to choose from, subject to availability.

Should you have specific requirements on the types of seeds you would like to add, please contact us beforehand!

Seed bomb making workshops are recommended for school-going children as the workshop would cover topics on plant growth, urban farming and more. Students will get to learn all about germination and have a hands-on experience in making their own seed bombs. 

The minimum number of pax that we can accommodate for the seed bomb making workshop would be 5 pax.

The maximum number of pax that we can accommodate for the seed bomb making workshop would depend on your venue.
