Troubleshooting Common Problems

Why are my seeds showing no signs of germination?

Ensure the seeds are moist and the environment is not cold. Most seeds take about 7-10 days to germinate.

Why is my plant long and thin?

Usually it is due to lack of sunlight. Do place your plant in a space with sufficient sunlight.

Why is my plant growing so slowly?

It might be due to lack of oxygen. Provide more oxygen to the plant’s roots by inserting the pipette through the hole of the planting tray.

Why did my plant wither?

It might be due to lack of water. When the water level is not touching the bottom of the sponge,  do replenish the water immediately.

Why is my sponge turning green?

It is because of algae growth, which happens naturally when light touches the nutrient solution. To prevent this, ensure the sponge is not placed under direct sunlight.

What types of vegetables can I grow with HydroKit?

Small plants like Basil, Mint, Baby Pak Choy, Green Bayam, Red Bayam, and other types of microgreens are suitable for hydroponics.

What is the duration of the Hydroponics Workshop?
